Missing star figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and wing-back Daniel Muñoz, the London club departed Dublin with a comfortable win that all but guarantees them a spot in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS ought to be enough to seal straight passage to the knockout stages, especially after a previous stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Opportunity

After the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also blazed a glaring chance, indicating there is still room for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to earn his first-team debut, capping an otherwise positive night for the visiting side.
