I will dominate 'serious combatant' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
